Jason S. Trager, Ph.D.

Jason is a data scientist, AI engineer, and serial entrepreneur with a passion for sustainable energy solutions. With more than a decade of experience leading enterprise software, machine learning, and geospatial data teams, he has consistently driven innovation in data-heavy products. As a co-founder of Plentiful.ai, Jason brings his expertise in scaling AI-powered solutions for electrification products. He previously led Sustainabilist, guiding the company to a successful acquisition. Jason holds a Ph.D. from UC Berkeley, where he focused on energy efficiency methodologies, and enjoys discussing books, startup ideas, and renewable energy in his spare time.

Kit Kohler

Kit is a marketing and creative professional with a deep interest in environmental and social causes. After a successful tenure as Creative Director at a San Francisco media tech company, he launched his own creative agency, working across industries like cleantech, AI, and sustainable agriculture. In 2016, Kit co-founded Sustainabilist, an ML-driven software firm focused on clean energy, which was later acquired. At Plentiful.ai, Kit brings his expertise in creative strategy and marketing. When not working, you can find Kit enjoying outdoor adventures with family and dog in Northern California.

Charley McGowan

Charley brings a wealth of experience in site reliability engineering and full-stack development to Plentiful.ai. His technical expertise spans data management, ETL pipeline construction, and coding frameworks such as React.js, Node.js, and Python. Charley is committed to blending cutting-edge technology with practical solutions, helping advance Plentiful.ai’s mission of scaling sustainable energy initiatives. Outside of work, Charley enjoys supporting art and creative projects, exploring the outdoors, and finding insightful ways to improve in both life and work.

Christopher Johnson

Christopher Johnson is a senior software engineer with over 10 years of experience building data infrastructure and applications across the energy and utilities sector. At Plentiful, he develops and deploys full-stack applications and builds data pipelines that transform public and private datasets into machine-learning-ready features for building-level digital twins. Previously, as Senior Data Engineer at Integral Analytics, he built utility-scale grid planning and analytics infrastructure, including core components of the platform used to deliver geospatial load forecasts for utilities serving 30% of U.S. electric meters. Earlier, as Lead Software Developer at Sustainabilist, he built custom software for companies in the renewables and efficiency sectors, including full-stack web and mobile applications, systems architecture, and data modeling. His technical expertise spans Python, TypeScript, React, Node, PostgreSQL, Supabase, and cloud infrastructure. Christopher holds a J.D. from the University of California College of the Law, San Francisco, and a B.A. in Classical Languages from UC Berkeley.

Angela Yust

Angela is a logistics expert with over a decade of experience in project and production management. Her work spans corporate, nonprofit, and freelance engagements, where she has consistently delivered operational success. With a degree in Biological Sciences from California Polytechnic State University, she later made her way to the Pacific Northwest. Angela’s expertise extends beyond logistics—she’s also an avid explorer of Portland’s natural spaces, enjoying costuming, plant identification, and local events in her free time.
